From early days sorting paper for recycling in her high school’s environment club to working as an athlete speaker for Clean Air Champions to hosting a ‘Bed-In for Sustainability’ in Calgary that drew praise and encouragement from Yoko Ono herself, Kristina’s passion for the environment has deep roots.

Now pursuing her masters degree in Sustainable Energy Development and embarking on a super sustainable urban residential project in Calgary, Kristina speaks to the need for developing smart energy and efficiency solutions.

As a past speaker at Calgary's EcoLiving Fair and upcoming speaker at the 2013 Alberta Sustainable Building Symposium, Kristina's unique experience as an advocate, educator and now student of the environmental field, offers a distinct perspective on the climate change crisis.

Candid, honest and tough, Kristina’s approach to sustainability is refreshing and compelling. There is no greenwashing here – Kristina walks the walk and has made it her mission to help others do the same. This presentation focuses on the goal of a global energy revolution and personal behavioural change – a powerful combination that can lead us to a beautiful future.
